摘要
A survey on power quality characterization of distribution network with large scale DGs is carried out, where photovoltaic (PV) and wind power are selected as representative intermittent DG. Research developments are reviewed with following categories: theoretical analysis, test data from practical projects, comprehensive control strategy, and power quality monitor system. Research developments for each power quality issue are illustrated, i.e. deviation of supply voltage, voltage fluctuation and flicker, harmonics and unbalance. Control strategies of DG to compensate power quality problems are highlighted because it is a promising cost-effective solution for power quality control in distribution network. Finally power quality monitoring system is reviewed, based on which advanced applications for power quality monitoring are proposed. Based on review of existing publications, this paper also proposes suggestion to current researches and the future research trends.
