摘要
An everyday increase of a number of artificial electromagnetic field (EMF) sources in the environment highlights the area of EMF investigation as a very important. In that sense, the appropriate exposure assessment of the human population has a particularly significant role. Lack of some standardized procedure for the exposure assessment in the case of broadband EMF measurements offers opportunities for proposal and realization of some new ideas. This paper brings details about the adaptive boundary exposure assessment approach, as one of the possible solutions in cases of broadband measurements. This approach suggests a calculation of the upper and lower exposure boundaries, as well as their appropriate adaptation, according to the spectral characteristics of the measurement location. For the purpose of initial verification of the suggested approach, test measurement of the high-frequency electric field strength was carried out in the campus area of the University of Novi Sad. It was obtained reduction in boundaries difference of 36.25%, regarding the Serbian legislation, resulting with the increased precision of the broadband EMF exposure assessment.
