摘要：
The research progress and results of Monte Carlo method for the engineering technology fields are reviewed. Firstly, the basic ideas and principles of Monte Carlo method are briefly introduced. Secondly, the simulation process and procedure of Monte Carlo method are presented. Thirdly, the applications in several fields such as particle transport problems, inter-particle collision, mathematical, statistical mechanics calculation and other engineering applications are summarized. Finally, the direction of future development for Monte Carlo method was discussed.
