Formation of structure and composition of Sr-Si-containing calcium phosphate coatings via micro-arc oxidation

摘要
Studying the formation of structure, phase and elemental compositions of Sr-Si-containing calcium phosphate coatings at the Sr and Si co-substituted hydroxyapatite deposition via micro-arc oxidation on the titanium under the different applied voltages was performed. The increase of the applied voltage from 200 to 400 V leads to the increase of the coating thickness, porosity and structural elements size (spheres and pores). In this case, the structure transformation from X-ray amorphous to amorphous-crystalline state and formation of CaHPO4 (monetite) phase with amount up to 35 wt%. was observed in the coatings. The presence of amorphous phase and freely soluble monetite in the coatings could indicate the high rate of their bioresorption. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
