With the fast development of Chinese package industry and the improvement of Chinese Education reformulation, there are great demands on high quality talents on package design feild, therefore, reforming on package courses becomes the essential measures to meet such situation. This paper made a discussion on the necessity of reformation on Package Design teaching methods through analyzing the inadequate and defects of current teaching system on package designing major. Meanwhile, it also provided some efficient measures as to combine theory knowledge with marketing requirement and social practice so that the course could present with distinguished features both in traditional Chinese and international vogue, which could also improve the students' abilities on design and meet the demands of the modern marketing towards the talents of package design.
