It allows to apply more effective technologies of formation of professional competence of students on the material of authentic texts from the American magazines. The subject of the research is the method of using the national American socio-cultural media stereotypes as a means of creating a professional educational environment in which the interest of students to learn foreign language practice, as well as to a deeper study of specialized disciplines is stimulated. The authors 'research of innovative opportunities for the formation of a foreign language educational environment was based on the methods of text analysis and updating of media stereotypes, their role in studying the skill of journalists to find language communicative techniques of text creation to influence the audience.
