Influence of Transfer Conditions on Properties of Graphene Oxide Langmuir Films

摘要
The results of the study of the effect of value of surface pressure during film deposition on the structural and optical properties of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of graphene oxide are presented. Measurement of compression isotherms of monolayers revealed that only gas phase observed when the small volume of the solution of graphene oxide is spreaded onto the surface of the subphase. For formation of monolayer in liquid state it's necessary to increase the amount of spreaded graphene oxide dispersion up to 2 ml. A further increase of spreaded dispersion leads to a reduction in the gas phase and specific molecular area. It is shown that the film obtained at a low surface pressure is more uniform in structure, but its optical density 30 % less than for the film prepared at high pressure. From the analysis of the area that occupied by the LB film on the surface of substrates, it was found that all monolayers that were transferred onto a solid substrate at high pressures occupy about 80% of the whole investigated area. This value is in good agreement with the data of transfer rate of the film.
