摘要
Grid enables users to access remote resources and at the same time to retain the local control of the resources. Common user interface tools which can be used in different middleware are described These tools try to compensate shortcomings of middleware. With general tools users can access multiple grids simultaneously or switch from one platform to another easier. These tools also simplify use of grid from different computers by the same user. Support for higher level grid services, such as LFC, in users' tools is also improving.
