摘要
This study focused on removal of arsenic from drinking water using different media such as bauxite, lime and plastic clay. Media were treated with different temperature and pH to check adsorption capacity changes. According to the results obtained, temperature (30 degrees C and 40 degrees C), pH 9 and 1h retention time has resulted maximum removal of arsenic on the media. The adsorption data was analyzed and it was found to obey Langmuir model with a good value (0.99) of correlation coefficient.
