Effect of silica support modified by dodecatungstophosphoric acid on course of the pseudoionone cyclization

摘要
Pseudoionone was cyclized in lig. phase at 363 and 383 K over 4 various SiO2 supports modified by dodecatungstophosphoric acid to alpha- and beta-ionones as main products. The yield of a-ionone was 45-60% after 2 h. It was attributed predominantly to the absence of steric constraints in the materials for transformation of pseudoionone.
