摘要
Future electric shipboard power systems with the requirements of high quality, reliability and survivability are intended to be implemented by the adoption of Medium Voltage DC (MVDC) architecture. As different types of power converters and AC/DC power distribution involved in the same system, the performance of the MVDC system under various steady-state operating conditions needs to be well-evaluated so as to take the appropriate operations whenever necessary. This requires the power flow solution of the system to be precise and efficient. In this paper, the models of the power converters including rectifier, buck converter and inverter are studied, and a Newton-Raphson based AC/DC load flow method is presented to analyze the performance of the MVDC shipboard power system under power converter control. Different from the existing work which most of them mainly focus on AC-DC conversion, we principally emphasis on analyzing the impact of DC-DC converters on the system.
