摘要
We compared the convenience of the Quality-of-Life and Utility Evaluation Survey Technology (QUEST) questionnaire and the Frequency Scale for the Symptoms of Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease (FSSG) questionnaire. The subjects were 40 healthy adult volunteers (22-52 years old). They were asked to complete the QUEST and FSSG themselves. The time required to complete the questionnaire, whether the subjects asked any questions as they filled in the questionnaires, and the questionnaire scores were analyzed. The comparison between the QUEST and FSSG revealed significant differences in the completion time (82.5 sec vs 42.5 sec, respectively: P < 0.0001) and whether the subjects asked any questions (13 subjects vs 2 subjects, respectively: P=0.0031). The FSSG was more convenient to complete than the QUEST.
