摘要
A new functionalized SBA-16 catalyst immobilized palladium (II) has been synthesized. Inductively coupled plasma (ICP), small-angle X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), nitrogen physical adsorption and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) studies have been used to characterize the catalyst. The catalyst exhibited very high activity for Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl halides with arylboronic acids in EtOH/water under air atmosphere. On the other hand, the synthesized catalyst could be separated from the reaction mixture by simple filtration and reused up to five runs without significant loss in activity. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V.
