摘要
Vicia root micronucleus assay was used to determine the clastogenicity of water samples from Xiaoqing River that passes through Jinan City. Positive results were obtained from eight water collecting sites. This indicates that the water in most areas of this river was polluted with industrial waste and municipal sewage. Results of this study proves that biomonitoring with Vicia root micronucleus test is an efficient way to assess the water quality of this river. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
