摘要
In this research, an attempt has been made to produce kenaf fibre-reinforced composites using the pultrusion technique. The properties of the pultruded natural fibre-reinforced composites are reported and compared. To further improve the performance of the composites, the fibre sizes were adapted by varying the kenaf fibre tex. The pultruded composite specimens underwent a hygrothermal aging study, to simulate the environments of outdoor structural applications. The mechanical characteristics were determined by flexural and compression testing, in order to study advancements.
