Improved Log Interpretation Method to Saturation of the Shaly Formation

摘要
The traditional PNN log interpretation is based on a kind of model of all rock frame reservoir, but it has not a good accuracy for saturation of rich shaly formation. There are even some difficulties for variable rock frame. This article introduces an improved variable rock frame model inheriting all advantages and overcoming disadvantages as far as possible, basing on analysing the pros and cons of four traditional interpretation methods. Then according to the experiments with four wells, the accuracy of interpretation is obviously heightened.
