摘要
Boiler-Turbine Unit (BTU) is the core of manufacturing any thermal power stations. BTU is a non-linear multivariable system that required a precise control design to overcome the system complexity. In this paper, a model for nonlinear BTU is obtained. Two controlling techniques are proposed to improve the performance of the boiler-turbine unit. The control process is, firstly, accomplished via utilizing an optimal controller based on a linear model for BTU. This linear model is provided by using system identification technique in order to enhance the controlling process. Secondly, a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is used to compensate the system non linearity and parameters uncertainty. The results clarify the efficient performance of the two control methods under vast range of input disturbances. Also, a performance comparison between the two controllers has been discussed.
