摘要
the techniques used in fault diagnosis of automotive engine oils are discussed. The importance of Oil change at the right time and the effect of parameters like water contamination, particle contamination, oxidation, viscosity, fuel content in oil are also discussed. Analysis is carried out on MATLAB with reference to the variation of Dielectric constant of lubrication oil over the use period. The program is designed to display the values of Iron content (particles), water content, density and Acid value at particular instant and display the condition of oil in terms of parameter.
