摘要
Taking 308 high and middle managers from private firms as sample, we empirically analyze the effects that the paternalistic behavior of the highest manager has on firm's performance and its mechanism, and the result shows that: The three dimension models of Paternalistic leadership behavior do not have positive effects on firm's performance because of the negative effects of authority dimension; Paternalistic leadership behavior takes effects on firm's static performance mainly through employee's job satisfaction; There are interactive effects within the three dimensions of Paternalistic leadership behavior that may lead to specific results.
