摘要
The IC foundry business had been remarkably developed for the past decade in Taiwan. The well-known IC design house, the wafer fabrication industries, and the IC packaging/testing business had together formed a contiguous supply chain form material to system. Logistic management of the wafer is the key linkage in the IC foundry supply chain. The objectives of this paper include the system analysis, design and development for the information management system of global wafer logistics. Current issues for wafer logistics management are firstly reviewed. The information system is then analyzed and developed based on the model-driven business transformation approach. The business operation model for the wafer logistics management is studied. The platform-independent solution architecture is constructed. A prototype of the information system is also developed. Results of this research can provide the effectiveness and efficiency improvement in wafer logistics management of the IC foundry supply chain.
