Being Transparent - An Evidence of a Local Authority in Malaysia

The purpose of this paper is to explore and examine the transparency of the local authority in Malaysia. In addition to examine annual reports, the study also employed an in depth interview to get better picture how transparency has been adopted by the local authority in managing their areas. This study finds that the local authority practices transparency, but only subjected to the openness to feedback from community. In other areas such as annual report, much work should be done by the local authority to demonstrate its transparency.
