摘要
A project is in progress to accomplish PIXE analysis of natural samples using "Tandentron 4110A" tandem accelerator. By modifying solid state Cs sputtering source, proton beam up to 2 MeV produced and several experiments performed to test PIXE equipment and to calibrate Si(Li) detector. A semiempirical mathematical model. based on ionization cross section dependency on electron binding energy and particle energy, using MCNPX and MCNP5 created to give an estimate experimental results. In order to accomplish PIXE analysis of aerosols, known aerosol X-ray spectra containing 1, 10 and 100 at. ppm of several elements from Fe to Pb at different impact energies calculated.
