摘要
This study aims to identify sustainability practices in the textile and fashion supply chain (SC) according to the Triple Bottom Line (TBL). To achieve this objective, a case study of a fashion retailer brand is performed. This study shows that the adoption of sustainability practices provides lower production costs and better management of resources. There is also a concern on the minimization of emissions and environmental impacts across the supply chain using natural, recycled or biodegradable fabrics, garments reform or recycle fabrics for the manufacture of new parts. Regarding social sustainability, the case study is interested in providing good working conditions and support projects that benefit the communities where the company operates. This study contributes for raising the attention of academics and professionals for the sustainability in the textile and fashion industry for the kind of practices that could be implemented to become textile and fashion' retailers companies more sustainable.
