摘要
This paper describes the dynamic behaviour of hydraulic turbine with a long penstock. The water inertia effect is a factor that makes difficult to maintain stability under isolated operation or to have fast response in case of load change. A nonlinear hydraulic system model is investigated. Linear models for different load conditions using identification procedure are obtained. Two approaches for conventional PI controllers design are studied. They are based on pole placement and Astrom-Hagglund tuning methods. The simulation model of the hydro generator control system is created. Surge-free transition from initial speeding up to load control mode is realized. Simulations with different controllers under different load conditions are carried out in order to explore the system performance.
