摘要
The design standard for concrete structures DIN EN 1992-1-2 (EC 2-1-2) allows the use of simplified and/or advanced calculation models for structural fire design. The basis for structural fire design are temperature-depended stress-strain-relations for ordinary and high-strength concrete, which consider the loss of strength and stiffness due to increasing temperature. The present article highlights that the current concrete technology development and thus diversification in the material composition of new types of concrete must be considered in structural fire design. The article compiles temperature-dependent compressive strength values of novel concretes. Thus, it illustrates the influence of the composition of concrete on its high temperature behavior.
