Discussion on the Design and Construction of the Transportable Stadiums

Compared with the temporary building, the transportable stadiums can be reused. In this case, some of the materials can be saved and the effect of economy and environmental friendliness is achieved. Considering transportability of the stadiums, the paper discusses the approaches to the transportability and dismantlement in the design. Taking the awning, stand and accessory occupancy of sports fields and the stadium roof as the subject, the paper discusses transportability and dismantlement in terms of structural design. The construction feasibility is analyzed as well. An example is presented to illustrate this conservation-minded design. The design and construction feasibility of the transportable stadiums are summarized and the conclusion is that transportable stadiums are applicable.
