摘要：

Woo Suk Hwang, the once famed but now disgraced stem cell pioneer was indicted on May 12th 2006 on charges of fraud, embezzlement and violations of a bioethics law. Hwang had claimed in 2004 to have made a break through in so-called therapeutic cloning by creating a stem cell line from a cloned human blastocyst.
