Water Quality Actuality and Pollution Reasons Analysis on the Primary Water Sources in the Huayuankou Reach of Yellow River

To ensure drinking water security is an important work concerned by the governments of nations. And it is also an important goal for our country to realize the strategy of sustainable development. In order to know the pollution situation of the drinking water sources in the Huayuankou reach, which is essential to people' s health and life, we monitored different seasons' water quality of the main stream, the branches and the blowdown mouths in the reach, and analyzed the situation, the influence and the pollution variation tendency of the primary water sources. In order to guarantee the drinking water quality of Zhengzhou and Xinxiang city, we analyzed the pollution reasons and put forward corresponding water sources protection measures.
