摘要
The test cells equipped with single-cylinder engines are experimental facilities widely used in applied research. This type of experimental facility has a great flexibility in the control of parameters. However, the great complexity in the experimental facility and the great number of parameters to control and register provoke error appearance in measurement techniques and hinders its detection. Addressing this issue, there is the need to increase the efficiency in experimental facilities equipped with single-cylinder engines, optimizing time, and costs invested in performing tests. A methodology for error detection during single-cylinder engines testing has been presented, as well as the sequential protocol in order to identify which parameter is the source of the measurement error. The test methodology and the error-assignation protocol have been validated by means of examples.
