Fault diagnosis of the grinding roll based on the method of vibration testing

Combining scientific research practice, the study on the generation mechanism of roller surface grinding defect during the grinding process of a fine roll grinding machine was carried out. Consequently, a highly efficient diagnosing method for both grinding defects and grinding machine defects was proposed based on the combination of the relative vibration and the absolute vibration. With this method, the diagnostic process has the good characteristics such as fast speed, high accuracy, strong pertinence and so on. So it is a good method worthing to be application and popularization.
