Project management is one of the most important management tool in many companies. In the past decade, the word project has become widely known and used, and its importance has greatly expanded. Most often, it is used to name a sequence of related activities with a given beginning and an end, the purpose of which is the realization of a certain objective. All projects contain a part of uncertainty and they are exposed to unidentified or poorly predictable phenomena. Organizations that are not managed by projects deal with crises reactively.
