摘要
While the economy in Beijing has developed rapidly, the total energy consumption has increased year by year. In order to identify the decoupling effects between economic growth and carbon emissions in Beijing, we analyzed the factors affecting the CO2 emission in Beijing. In this paper, extended LMDI model and decoupling method were used to investigate and quantitatively analyze the mainly driving factors influencing the decoupling. The results indicated that Beijing has not reached the true sense of decoupling level so far and we analyzed the related reasons. In the end, the thesis gives some relevant suggestions for sustainable development.
