摘要
A series of modified nano-TiO2 photocatalysts, Nano PC, was applied to cotton fabrics through a pad-dry-cure process. The effect of Nano PC dosage, the ratio of Nano PC to crosslinking agent, and curing conditions on the degradation of formaldehyde were discussed. The optimal finishing process of cotton fabric with Nano PC was determined as follows: 1%similar to 1.5% photocatalyst, curing at 130 degrees C for 5 minutes. Cotton fabric treated with the above process demonstrated over 90% degradation of formaldehyde, good washing fastness and soft handle, as well as little loss in breaking strength, tearing strength and polymerization degree.
