摘要：

This paper aims to analyze the life trajectory of the Italian friar of the Dominican Order, Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274). We will approach the paths that led him to join in the teachings of faith, as well as his influences in the elaboration of his main work Summa Theologiae (1273). We will discuss the construction of the Thomist doctrine since the contact with the thought and works of the Greek philosopher Aristotle rearticulated Aquinas' thinking. In this sense, we will elaborate an article based on the trajectory and construction of the affirmation and acceptance of Aquinas's thought among peers, since the influence of Aristotelian thought in his works caused him some problems.
