摘要
Most of the engineering optimization problems are multi-objective, which is very difficult and time-consuming to find the optimal solution. Nowadays nature-inspired techniques are becoming more powerful for their effective result in terms of time or accuracy or cost. Cricket Chirping Algorithm (CCA) is a nature-inspired meta-heuristics algorithm to solve optimization problems that is developed based on the chirping behavior of cricket. In this work, CCA is formulated to solve the multiobjective design optimization problems in the engineering field. The proposed method is first validated in some multi-objective test functions and applied to solve the disc brake design problem and welded beam design problem. The result of the experimental analysis is compared with other meta-heuristics like Bat Algorithm (BA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO).
