摘要
Changes in N, P, K, Ca and Mg contents of cattle dung were determined on a grassland area throughout a year. A complete decomposition of cattle dung occurred during the dry season (from 150 to 180 days) and the rainy season (from 90 to 120 days), A reduction in these elements was observed with the decomposition of cattle dung in the dry season, however in the rainy season, the trend was variable. A 75% decrease in K concentration during the first 30 days of decomposition was found, The effect of biological activity and chemical composition of cattle dung on the changes produced as well as the influence of climatic factors on decomposition is discussed.
