The two-point simultaneous sampling method for measurement of loss tangent

The paper introduces a new method for measurement of loss tangent---two-point simultaneous sampling method firstly. Then the theoretic precision of the method is analyzed. A computer program is designed to simulate the proceeding of the measurement and, the results show that the precision of the method is 10(-5) even if a 12 bit A/D convertor is used. Lastly, the error-sources which may cause errors is analyzed and some improving methods are given. Comparing with other methods, the method has the advantages of simple in principle and has less numbers of data to be treated. It is a better method for continuously on-line measurement of loss tangent.
