摘要：

The title molecule, [Co-2(C8H7O2)(4)(C12H8N2)(2)(H2O)], is a dinuclear Co-II complex which is located on a twofold symmetry axis. Each Co-II ion is six-coordinated by three O atoms of different phenylacetate ligands, two N atoms of the 1,10-phenanthroline ligands and one O atom of a water molecule, giving a distorted octahedral geometry. The two Co-II atoms are bridged by two phenylacetate groups and the water molecule lying on the twofold axis. The (CoCo)-Co-... distance is 3.553 (2) angstrom. A one-dimensional supramolecular chain is constructed by pi - pi stacking interactions between adjacent 1,10- phenanthroline molecules.
