The Preliminary Study on Development of DGPS Service Techniques Based on Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting

摘要
The Korean Ministry of Land, Transportation, and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) is developing technologies for a DGPS service using Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) aiming to achieve regional augmentation and commercialization of the current DGPS service. In this study, we developed PRC filtering algorithms to improve accuracy of Regional Area Augmentation System (RAAS) DGPS correction messages to be implemented in the DGPS service provided by MLTM. The developed algorithm was validated by comparing positioning accuracies before and after filtering. As a result, we found that the positioning accuracy improves over four times after filtering out outliers and correcting for them through the implemented filtering algorithm.
