Polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in the surface aerosol of the southern coast of lake Baikal

摘要
Study was made on the pollution of the surface aerosol of the southern coast of Baikal with polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in the areas with potential sources. Twelve individual PAHs were determined from the list of compounds recommended for the analysis for evaluating the risk both for the environment and for people. The level of their concentration is maximum in wintertime, pollution is mainly of local nature.
