摘要
This article focuses on the controllability of reflected and transmitted Goos-Hanchen shifts for a planar anisotropic yttrium-iron-garnet film. The yttrium-iron-garnet film, being magneto-optical material, is magnetized along the z-direction. For richer control of the Goos-Hanchen shifts and the characteristics of reflectivity/transmitivity, the externally magnetized film is surrounded by isotropic fractal dielectric halfspaces. The tuning of Goos-Hanchen shifts from positive to negative and vice versa, has been obtained by varying the values of incidence frequency in the microwave regime, incidence angle, fractional dimensional parameter, external magnetic field, and slab thickness.
