Evaluation on Water Resource Carrying Capacity Based on BP Model-A Case Study in Guanzhong District

摘要
Water Resource Carrying Capacity (WRCC) is an important guidance to the sustainable regional development. In the paper we used the error back propagation (BP) neural network model to evaluate WRCC, because of its strong recognition capability, feasibility and great learning speed. Taking Guanzhong Area in Shaanxi Province as the study region, the WRCC of the district during 2000-2009 was quantitatively evaluated based on the BP model. The result shows that evaluation grade of the WRCC of Weinan city in Guanzhong is 3 grade that is bad level; that of Xi'an city, Baoji city, Xianyang city and Tongchuan city are 2 grade that is general level.
