摘要
We report our experience of two years (February 1993- February 1995) in the endoscopic treatment with self-expanding prosthesis (Ultraflex(R)) of 21 patients with inoperable malignant oesophageal stenosis. 23 prosthesis were implanted enabling swallowing in less than 24 h. There were no major complications. In two ocasions the prothesis was obstructed by tumoral growth needing replacement. The prosthesis was occluded by solid food in four cases, which were resolved endoscopically.
