摘要
The future E-ELT (European Extremely Large Telescope), an ESO's project whose first light is planned for 2017, will have a 42-meter primary mirror. It will integrate a 2.5-meter deformable mirror to correct the effects of atmospheric turbulence. French deformable mirror's manufacturer CILAS has proposed a concept for this deformable mirror where the deformable mirror is made of a reflective membrane supported by actuators fixed in a rigid base plate. Because of its large size, vibrations due to dynamic mechanical behaviour may occur when working. This paper presents modal analysis led on a 1-meter prototype of this deformable mirror and how experimental modal analysis was used to determine the eigenmodes of this structure. Computed and measured eigenmodes are compared.
