摘要
With the development of chemical fiber forming technology, it is necessary that quantificational methods replace qualitative methods for cross shape measure. So all automatic image analysis system oil textile fibers is developed to replace manual time-consuming measurement of characteristic parameters through microscope. A series of quantitative measures are developed to characterize geometric attributes of profile fiber and fiber assembly. And the resin embedding technology is developed for exactly measures of textile fiber. The system software is Constituted by autofocusing module and auto-measuring module. The two modules can obtain clear images and measure shape indexes with little human interference. The practical examples are given for image focusing determination and image fusion. The characters of some fibers are described for fiber shape identification. The automatic image analysis system is a base for spinning quality control and research on the relation between physical properties and cross-sectional shape.
