摘要
Web service compositions are widely adopted approach for fast development of loosely-coupled dynamic applications in distributed environment. Providing their quality is a challenging task due to various problems at infrastructure, service and orchestration levels as well as the need of different types of testing in unknown context and environment. This paper proposes an end-to-end methodology for testing web service compositions as a set of procedure steps, supported by concrete approaches, best practices and techniques. New approaches for dependencies analysis, isolation of external web services and fault injection are proposed for the most critical steps of the methodology. The methodology is automated in a common framework and validated through testing of real web service compositions. It is assessed according to its applicability, completeness, level of automation, and level of novelty.
