摘要
Fixed wireless systems operate in several frequency bands between 2.4 GHz and 38 GHz. These systems offer competitive local exchange carriers a way to bypass local loops and get into business quickly with phone and Internet services. In particular, fixed wireless avoids the high cost and slow process of burying copper of fiber lines.
