摘要
According to various literature studies, buildings' life cycle is featured by significant share of the operational phase. Among the others, the type of energy source is one of the most important issues influencing the results of the Life Cycle Assessment focused on building. Heating and cooling purposes are the most significant in the operational phase of building's life cycle. The unusual type of cooling and heating system based on Peltier device has been developed at Lublin University of Technology. The experimental setup was tested with several solutions of supplementary devices as heat exchangers. The results of primary experiments allowed to set several options of system configuration, like: current and voltage of parameters of fan supply; the velocity of water in hot side heat exchanger. The comparison of COP value with the literature data showed that the examined system can be potentially used as a source of cooling and heating energy.
