摘要
The physical channels establishing intrabody communications were first treated as capacitive circuits by Zimmerman. However, their validity had been unclear for a long time. For this reason, one of the authors has derived an improved circuit model by solving a boundary value problem of electric potentials of conductors. Although the signal transmission mechanism of the intrabody communications can be described by the improved circuit model, the most important problem to be overcome is to protect against the noise. In the present paper, noise sources in equivalent circuits of the intrabody communication channels are derived based on the theory of electrostatic field, and how to reduce the received noise voltage is discussed.
