摘要
CAMERO-R E [Dept Biol, Univ Nacional Col, Colombia], GURREA-SANZ P & MARTIN-CANO J [Dept Biol. Univ Autonoma Madrid, Spain]: Biogeographic Factors of the Distribution of the Exapiina in the Iberian Peninsula and their Relationship with the Host Plants Distribution (Coleoptera: Brentidae). - Entomol Gener 34 (1-2): 131-148; Stuttgart 2012-09. - [Article] One of the methods used to explain the species distribution is based on the use of the populations confirmed presence information compared with the ranges of certain environmental variables. With this work it is pretended to analyze the factors affecting the distribution in the Iberian Peninsula of Coleoptera Curculionoidea species of the subtribe Exapiina and their relationship with the distribution of their host plants. The results show the little climatic specificity of most of the subtribe's species according to their correlation with certain bioclimatic variables and that the possible limitation in the geographical distribution of the species may be due to altitudinal factors and the distribution of their host plants.
